The New Face Of Leadership at Rowlands Group

We are thrilled to announce that Robert Cebulski has been appointed as the CEO of the Rowlands Group of Companies. The group includes Rowlands Metalworks, Defence Coating Systems (DCS), Spark Furniture, and Pecan Lighting. Previously, Cameron Johnston, our owner and Managing Director, founded and led the group for 16 years, during which time he spearheaded its impressive growth, doubling its size again in just the last 3 years.

Now Cameron says we are bringing "bigger business thinking" to the group. Recognising Robert's impressive background in heavy industry, Cameron anticipates new markets, opportunities, and acquisitions under his leadership.

A Culture Of Care And Collaboration

Robert offers more than just extensive business exposure; he brings a distinct focus on people and culture. His vision for Rowlands Group is to maintain its intimate, family-like atmosphere while propelling it into a thriving corporate entity. His unwavering belief in the transformative power of collaboration and shared knowledge resonates deeply with Cameron and the entire group.

"We have a very good culture here," says Robert. "I plan to maintain that as best we can." He added that he believes the group can continue to grow while retaining its core skills and ensuring that our current staff have opportunities to grow with the group.

Nurturing A South Australian Icon

Over the course of the next five years, Robert aspires to see Rowlands Group grow into a widely recognised and respected South Australian icon. With a strong commitment to the local community, he envisions expanding the company's operations and creating more employment opportunities for South Australians. Through the pursuit of excellence, Robert aims to establish Rowlands Group as a prominent player, driving innovation and making a meaningful impact in the region.

"Together, collectively, we can get there," he said. "It's an exciting time to be part of the Rowlands Group."

Driving The Group Into New Horizons

As the newly appointed CEO, Cebulski has a clear vision to harness the wealth of knowledge within the group and foster strong collaborations with customers, all with the ultimate goal of driving growth and continuous improvement. With a belief in never settling for the status quo, he constantly seeks out opportunities to elevate product quality and expedite speed to market, ensuring that the Rowlands Group remains at the forefront of innovation and customer satisfaction.

"I plan to grow the business and our success by really collaborating with our people and our customers," Robert said.

Empowering Employees And Enhancing Customer Experience

Robert's vision extends to empowering employees and giving them a voice in the group's success. He is looking forward to providing our team with the tools we need to contribute meaningfully to the company's future.

Cameron, who has always been passionate about the career opportunities offered to employees, is excited about the prospect of those opportunities increasing under Robert's leadership.

For the group's customers, this new era promises improved service levels and processes. "The message for our customers is that we strive for excellence," Robert says. He believes the work we will do collectively as a group will significantly enhance our joint performance, quality, and speed to market, making Rowlands Group a globally competitive supplier.

A Bright Future Ahead

With Robert Cebulski at the helm and Cameron Johnston continuing as Managing Director, the Rowlands Group is poised to enter an exciting new era. This dynamic duo, with their shared commitment to culture, collaboration, and big business thinking, are set to steer the group to even greater heights.

As the Rowlands Group embarks on this journey, one thing is certain - the South Australian economy can expect great things from our group of home-grown companies.
