Batch Testing is a quality assurance process where a group, or 'batch', of items are tested together to ensure they meet specific standards. Not every single product or component needs testing. Instead, just a few items from a batch are inspected to ensure the whole batch meets the required standards. These tests could involve checking the thickness of the coating, its colour, glossiness, how well it sticks to the surface, and more. ## Maintain High Standards and Drive Continuous Improvement ![DSC06276-Testing05a](https://defencecoatingsystems.com/hs-fs/hubfs/DSC06276-Testing05a.jpg?width=1802&height=1200&name=DSC06276-Testing05a.jpg) ## What is Record Keeping? Record keeping involves documenting details from the batch testing process. When a batch of items is tested, findings, including which items were tested, the conducted tests, their results, and any quality adjustments, are recorded. DCS refer back to these records to understand past performances and guide future improvements. This ensures "Record Keeping" helps maintain high standards and promotes continuous enhancement in the production process. ## A Powerful Duo That Form A Two-Step Verification Process ![DSC06321-Testing03](https://defencecoatingsystems.com/hs-fs/hubfs/DSC06321-Testing03.jpg?width=1799&height=1200&name=DSC06321-Testing03.jpg) ## Quality And Improvement Together, batch testing and record-keeping form a synergistic quality control framework. While batch testing ensures immediate adherence to standards, record-keeping offers a repository for benchmarking and consistency. Beyond just cataloguing data, these records provide insights for targeted improvements. Their combined strength not only ensures ongoing quality assurance but also fosters continual betterment in production. × ### Newsletter Registration We bring you news, insights, and case studies from the Rowlands Group, which includes DCS, Rowlands Metalworks, Spark Furniture, and Pecan Lighting. ###### Provide your details to stay updated ##### Stay In Touch Get updates and news about our latest projects, innovations, case studies and industry insights straight to your inbox.
